Humility is not about thinking less of yourself, it’s about thinking of yourself less.

One day on my road to purpose, I was asked one of the three most important questions of my life, the answer to which would end up birthing the heart & soul of thenu3buzz MEDIA GROUP --- nu3MILITY MEDIA LABS.

WHO HAVE YOU ALWAYS KNOWN YOURSELF TO BE?

The more I thought about the answer to this question, the more I was reminded of how my Grandmother always used to tell me that "It's A Blessing to be A Blessing."

I remembered how as a little boy, she would always tell me that; "if I believe that GOD blesses me in my life, then I must be thankful for the opportunities that GOD gives me to be a blessing in the lives of others." I remembered how --- since I was a kid --- I would always try to take advantage of opportunities to be a blessing, because that's plain and simply what my grandmother held as the most important thing in life.

Yesterday, I was reminded of her words when I heard Ray McGee say that "humility is not about thinking less of yourself, it's about thinking of yourself less."

And so... the question --- who have you always known yourself to be? --- has given birth to buzz: the community-builder, and conversely, the "love for our neighbors" driving component of thenu3buzz MEDIA GROUP --- nu3MILITY MEDIA LABS --- which represents my commitment to community-outreach… thenu3WAY.

The mission of nu3MILITY MEDIA LABS is to help outreach organizations maximize their reach "IN" and impact "ON" the communities that we live in, by developing collaboration driven strategies and media driven solutions that address today's greatest threats to our neighbors and neighborhoods.

Today, that "Grandma Inspired" answer to this monumentally important question, still stands as the greatest way, among many, that Ellen "Aunt Nell" McBride has been and continues to be a blessing in my life, and I am forever grateful.
