Huddling-Up for Women's History Month: With Erika Jones
Meet Supermom Erika Jones Purvis and her little Supergirl - Sorah Purvis… whom i was blessed to have be a part of The Women’s History Stop on THE b3GOOD TOUR. After the shoot, i asked Erika why International Women’s History Month was important to her… and here is what she had to say.
This month is very important to me, not just because I am a woman, but I'm a mom with a daughter that I know is looking up to me... as I looked up to my own mother.
My mother loved cooking, catering, and she had a great eye for design. I watched her every move and now I am the owner of A Social Life, a party planning and event design company. She shaped me, as I am now shaping my daughter. We are all reflections. I'm curious to see what type of reflection she will cast.
I would like to thank Erika and Sorah again, for taking the time to be a part of my Community Building Tour, as well Mrs Elle Davis and The Ellevate Group for bringing these lovely ladies into my world.
