Huddling-Up for Women's History Month: With Elle Davis
Meet Supermom Elle Davis and her little Supergirl - Simone… whom i was blessed to have be a part of The Women’s History Stop on THE b3GOOD TOUR. After the shoot, i asked Elle why International Women’s History Month was important to her… and here is what she had to say.
When I think about Women's History Month, I first think of the accomplishments of all the amazing women around me, currently. I think of how they are defining their own stories and living life with intention and purpose.
And, when I think about that, I want the same for my daughter. As a parent, I have to challenge myself daily not to limit her creativity because she is in the process of developing her story.
I don't know if she or I will be in the history books, known world-wide, for any of our work. I do know that we both must look in the mirror each day happy and filled with gratitude of the people we are.
And, I hope that means a life filled with service, kindness and a moral compass.
