Bishop Smith's Birthday @ AFC
On Sunday, December 10th, 2017 - nbmg was live @ 38th Street - as The Body of Christ came together to celebrate Chicago's very own Bishop Horace E Smith. Everybody, including the birthday boy, was treated to a sweet surprise when gospel superstar Fred Hammond stopped by to perform a few of the Bishop's favorite songs.
And if that was not enough, Pastor Marvin Sapp, who was scheduled to deliver the day's message, joined Mr Hammond in a much appreciated walk down memory lane, blending gifts like they once did in the group Commissioned. Needless to say, spirits were high as The New Apostolic Faith Worship Center and Ministry Complex was overflowing with the Joys of Good Music and a Great Message.
